There are lots of piles in my house. I've started packing by piling. Not much is actually in a backpack yet, but my dining room has been transformed into what looks like a gear clearance sale. But neater piles.
I'm leaving in 3 days. You know it's serious because I've started the packing process a week early. No last minute packing for this trip. Usually I'm packing in the half hour before I have to leave for the airport. But I started piling several days ago after my lists got out of control and I decided it was time to stop writing things down and start putting things in bags.
It's a new adventure! I am so excited. I'm taking 3 months of work and have a ticket to Bangkok. The itinerary includes Thailand, Nepal, and Bhutan. Otherwise we'll have to see where I end up!
